SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

 

DomusDivitiarum provides international delivery of modular housing systems through a coordinated logistics network. Delivery is arranged based on project requirements, destination, and available transport methods. We do not operate through a single shipping provider. Instead, we work with a network of vetted logistics partners to ensure efficient, secure, and scalable delivery worldwide.

DELIVERY SCOPE Our delivery services may include: Coordination of transport from manufacturing facility to destination Road, sea, or multimodal shipping depending on project requirements Loading, handling, and transport supervision Delivery to the nearest accessible point at the project site Specific delivery scope is defined per project and confirmed in the final quotation or agreement.

 

--- 3. DELIVERY TERMS (INCOTERMS) Unless otherwise agreed in writing, delivery terms are defined in accordance with internationally recognized Incoterms® (International Commercial Terms). Depending on the project, delivery may be structured under: EXW (Ex Works) – Buyer arranges full transport FOB (Free On Board) – Delivery to port of shipment CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight) – Delivery to destination port DAP/DDP (Delivered at Place / Delivered Duty Paid) – Delivery to final destination The applicable Incoterm will be clearly specified in the project agreement or quotation.

 

--- 4. DELIVERY TIMELINE Typical project timelines: Production phase: approximately 2–4 weeks Quality control & preparation: 3–7 days Shipping & delivery: varies depending on destination (typically 1–5 weeks) Estimated total timeline: 4–10 weeks All timelines are indicative and may vary based on project size, customization, and logistics conditions.

 

--- 5. CUSTOMS, DUTIES & IMPORT REQUIREMENTS Depending on the selected delivery terms: The buyer may be responsible for customs clearance, import duties, taxes, and local regulatory compliance Under certain agreements (e.g., DDP), these may be handled by DomusDivitiarum or its logistics partners Responsibility for customs and import obligations will be clearly defined in the agreement.

 

--- 6. RISK TRANSFER Risk associated with the goods transfers from seller to buyer in accordance with the agreed Incoterm. Buyers are advised to review delivery terms carefully to understand the point at which responsibility transfers.

 

--- 7. SITE ACCESS & INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS The buyer is responsible for ensuring that: The delivery location is accessible for transport vehicles Adequate space is available for unloading Necessary equipment (e.g., crane or lifting machinery) is arranged unless otherwise agreed Installation and on-site setup may be arranged separately depending on project scope.

 

--- 8. DELAYS & FORCE MAJEURE Delivery timelines may be affected by factors outside our control, including: weather conditions port congestion customs delays global logistics disruptions DomusDivitiarum shall not be held liable for delays caused by such events.

 

--- 9. DAMAGE OR LOSS DURING TRANSPORT In the event of damage or loss: Responsibility is determined based on the agreed Incoterm Claims must be reported promptly upon delivery Supporting documentation (photos, inspection reports) may be required
